some time in quebec

Yesterday I spent some time hiking through the Gatineau Hills with some friends.  It felt great to get back to a little of my old outdoorsy life and to break out my snowshoes.

christmas traditions: nature walk

Every year, when I make the trek back to Ottawa for the holidays, my family goes on a walk through the bush.  Since I was born, I've been on this trail in one way or another; whether it's been in a backpack or on foot myself, I've always been exploring it.
