Mike Kaminski

I've known Mike for a long time; we actually went through public school, played on sports teams, and learned to play the guitar together.

He lives in Toronto as well, and is also the lead singer of the band The Dirty Mags.  They're recording their first album under White Girl Records, which should be out this fall, and it promises to be awesome.  He's an extremely talented and dedicated musician, and I'll definitely be posting some more shots and a link to the album when it comes out.

That's it for now, but there's more stuff coming soon.

Ryan Enn Hughes

Ryan Enn Hughes (the talented director/photographer behind the 360 Project, RGB Move, and other awesome projects) agreed to stand in front of my lens this weekend.

Being a talented name in motion, I thought he'd be the perfect subject to introduce my first moving portraits.  He also isn't a fan of waiting for things (example: waiting for a table at the restaurant after the shoot) so we had a great motion as well.  I've been playing around with the technique for a month or so now and I'm happy to finally share the first one.

If you want to see more of Ryan's work head over to Westside Studio's website or blog.

Also, thanks go out to Jamie Rosenthal for assisting me on this shoot.

lumberjack matt

Here is a quick shot of how I first envisioned Matt Le Blanc.

To all those people emailing the studio manager over at Westside, this is who's reading what you send; you better be polite haha.

Thanks Matt L for giving me 20 of your minutes and standing in/helping me test out some new gear.

I have some planned shoots happening the next few weeks, keep checking back.
